SSC JE में eligibility post और department के अनुसार अलग हो सकती है। इसलिए candidate को अपने चुने हुए post की Essential Educational Qualification जरूर check करनी चाहिए।
Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineer Civil: कई posts के लिए recognized institution/university से Civil Engineering में Degree या Diploma मांगा गया है। कुछ posts में Diploma के साथ निर्धारित work experience भी जरूरी है।
- Junior Engineer Electrical: संबंधित post के अनुसार Electrical Engineering में Degree या Diploma की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।
- Junior Engineer Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering में Degree/Diploma की आवश्यकता post के अनुसार निर्धारित है।
- Junior Engineer Telecom: Engineering/Technology में संबंधित Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication आदि qualifications निर्धारित हैं।
- Scientific Assistant in IMD: Physics के साथ Science Degree या notification में बताई गई Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Telecommunication आदि qualifications में से applicable qualification चाहिए।
🎯 Age Limit
SSC JE 2026 में age limit post के अनुसार 30 वर्ष या 32 वर्ष तक है। Age की calculation के लिए crucial date 01 August 2026 रखी गई है।

SSC JE 2026 में Computer Based Examination के दो papers होंगे — Paper-I और Paper-II। दोनों papers में General Engineering से संबंधित questions शामिल होंगे। Paper-I में General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness और संबंधित Engineering subject शामिल है।

Paper-I के ऊपर दिए गए तीनों subjects एक ही Paper-I का हिस्सा हैं। इसलिए प्रत्येक subject के लिए अलग-अलग 2 घंटे नहीं मिलते। सामान्य candidates के लिए Paper-I की कुल अवधि 2 घंटे है। Scribe के लिए eligible candidates को 2 घंटे 40 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है। Paper-II की अवधि भी सामान्य candidates के लिए 2 घंटे और eligible scribe candidates के लिए 2 घंटे 40 मिनट है।
Paper-I में General Intelligence & Reasoning के 50 questions, General Awareness के 50 questions और संबंधित Engineering subject के 100 questions होते हैं। इस प्रकार Paper-I में कुल 200 questions और 200 marks होते हैं।
Paper-II में संबंधित Engineering subject से 100 questions होते हैं, जिसके कुल 300 marks होते हैं।
